AdImpact is excited to share its updated projection for the 2025–2026 election cycle. Last year, we forecasted political ad spending would reach $10.8B.

We are now revising that estimate upward to $11.6B, making the 2025–2026 cycle the most expensive election cycle on record, surpassing the $11.2B spent during the 2023–2024 cycle.

Last cycle, AdImpact’s industry-leading projection of $10.7B came within 5% of the actual $11.2B.
